BUNK1 MESSENGER IS LAUNCHED
New
York, NY, December 15, 2003 - Bunk1.com recently launched its newest feature: Bunk1 Messenger. Now camp directors can record, schedule, broadcast, and track a personalized voice message to thousands of parents in an instant… NO hardware, software, or additional phone lines required!
"The Bunk1 Messenger system is incredibly easy to use and our parents were thankful to hear our voice telling them all was ok. It is a must for any safety conscious camp." said Chris Roy at Camp Walt Whitman.
Bunk1 Messenger will instantly deliver one voice message per recipient. Camps are sent an email report detailing the delivery success of your message. During the summer, camps use Bunk1 Messenger to alert parents about weekly events, to send safety messages, to send out reminders about upcoming parent weekends, and for rumor abatement. In the off season many camps use the service to notify their parents and staff about enrollment forms, holiday greetings, recruiting trips, and reunions.
The Bunk1 Messenger includes a crisis messaging service called Camp 911. In an emergency (e.g., a blackout), camp staff may not always access to a computer with internet access. With Camp 911, all camp directors need is a phone (landline or cell). With one phone call, camps can broadcast a voice message to ALL contacts at ALL their stored contact numbers (e.g., home, work, and cell). Each director receives a printable wallet-sized card containing instructions for using the Camp 911 system.
For more information about Bunk1 Messenger or any of the other Bunk1 features such as password protected Photo Gallery & Bunk Notes (one way camper email) system, online surveys, staffing directory, and much more, call 888-465-2267 or email Bunk1 at info@bunk1.com.
